The Different Healths

When we talk about health, we’re not just talking about your physical health. We’re not just talking about the state of your body, if you have any sicknesses or diseases, or maybe even your height and weight. Health is not just concerned with mental health, although that is a part of it. People also think of health as being exclusively about the body or the mind; if you’re depressed or if you have some sort of mental dysfunction.

Contrary to the normal train of thought, health is also concerned with the way you think and things you know; in other words, your brain’s health with respects to learning. Just because we graduated high school and college years ago doesn’t mean that we have to stop learning. Even if we’re thirty, forty, fifty, or even sixty or seventy, we can still learn. It is good for us to keep learning new things. You don’t need to go to a library and search through hundreds of books to keep your brain sharp. You can do things as simple as browsing through educational websites and online encyclopedias. You can also tune into channels that have informative content.

You can also keep your brain sharp playing simple mind games. You can try figuring out a 3×3 or 4×4 or 5×5 rubik’s cube, play sudoku, a cross word, a word search, or other mind engaging games. These simple games may not seem as much, but they act as simple exercise for your brain.
