Medicine and its side effects
With every drug that pharmaceutical companies make, there’s always a warning of possible side effects that a person who ingests it might experience. To be approved by the FDA or any governmental body that is mandated by law to regulate the sale of drugs, companies need to make sure that drugs or medicine are able to achieve its purpose like lowering blood pressure, while at the same time ensuring that side effects are kept to a minimum. Side effects vary from user to user, several factors involved here range from age, gender, and any underlying health condition that the user may already have. Chemical effects of a certain drug may also be amplified or suppressed depending on the different types of drugs taken together as well. With that said, it’s pretty safe to say that FDA-approved drugs are safe to use, except for a few that may have some unexpected side effects on a particular class of persons. Depending on the type of medicine that you take, side effects may range from headaches, stomach cramps, indigestion, or some other physical manifestation. This is precisely the reason why doctors prescribe the type of medicine you should be taking. Don’t risk it by buying everything over the counter, that’s dangerous and you’re putting your health at risk by taking drugs that may have some adverse effect on you. Dosage is also a very important factor to take in. Always make sure to follow what your doctor says, and do not self-medicate.
